Wake Forest, North Carolina (October 4, 2021) – At 6:20 p.m. on the evening of Monday, October 4, a car accident with injuries occurred in Wake Forest.
According to officials from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 5935 Purnell Road. Two or more vehicles were moving through the area when one or more lost control, causing a violent collision between the vehicles. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, firefighters and many other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured were hospitalized, but their state of health is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked on several lanes until the police could clear the scene. This caused delays for a while.
