Raleigh, NC (May 23, 2021) – At 6:19 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, May 23, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Poole Road and Norwood Street. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Paramedics and many other local responders were dispatched to assist the injured. One or more victims have been hospitalized, but their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is continuing.
