Utah personal injury attorney Robert DeBry died of natural causes on Tuesday at the age of 85.
DeBry founded the law firm Robert J. DeBry & Associates, which has offices in Salt Lake City, South Valley and St. George. The company is promoting itself as a company that stands up to insurance companies to help compensate injured victims. DeBry entered the office to work until last year, according to his obituary.
He was passionate about advocating for victims of drunk driving and bicycle helmets, according to the obituary. DeBry Company distributes low cost bicycle helmets and safe cycling brochures through its “Buy a helmet, save a life“Countryside. His obituary says he was a Mothers Against Drunk Driving donor and would pay taxis for people to protect them on the road.
