In a twist of the industrial leasing news, an Inland Empire company is moving its headquarters to Orange County from the Inland Empire.
Oadeer, a formerly Chino-based furniture wholesaler, signed a seven-year lease for 54,774 square feet at 718 Lakeview Loop Way, a new industrial hub in Placentia.
EXPO Convention Contractors, a Florida-based trade show entrepreneur, also signed a seven-year lease for 38,608 square feet at 719 Lakeview Loop Way.
Sean Ward and Ben Seybold of CBRE represented the unidentified owner.
Terms of the leases were not disclosed by CBRE, but Seybold said the properties were rented nearly “20% above the record average rental rate.”
“The narrowness of the market combined with growing demand is driving prices up sharply,” he added.
Earlier this year, Ricoh Electronics moved from its longtime home in Tustin to a new headquarters in Rialto, San Bernardino County. In April, Nissei America moved its injection molding machines to San Antonio, Texas from Anaheim.
Florida pharmaceutical company leases from Tustin

LGM Pharma, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Boca Raton-Fla., Has leased a 33,488 square foot warehouse at 2741-2745 Dow Ave. in Tustin, according to NAI / Merin Hunter Codman.
The company last summer acquired Nexgen Pharma Inc., based in Irvine. and leases the Tustin building as part of the combined business expansion.
Jeffrey A. Cebula and NAI / Merin Hunter Codman have partnered with NAI Capital Commercial to complete LGM’s seven-year lease.
The landlord was represented by Cushman Wakefield. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Start of model living units for the elderly
Clearwater in North Tustin, a new assisted living and memory community, will launch its model apartments from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 10-11.
This event is open to the public and will offer model tours and a chance to meet Clearwater staff.
Clearwater Living said last year that the project represents the first Catholic-based seniors community in Orange County. It will be open to people of all faiths.
