Forrest Co, MS (May 25, 2021) – A serious car crash in Forrest County left at least one person injured on Monday, May 24.
At approximately 1:12 p.m. that afternoon, rescuers were called to the scene. The collision occurred at the intersection of Interstate 59 NB and US-49, near exit 67A. All northbound lanes were closed due to the impact.
At this time, the extent of the associated injuries has not been confirmed. The injured parts were helped by the nursing staff. The identity of those involved has not been disclosed.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
