Evanston, Illinois (Jun 9, 2021) – A reported explosion incident in the Evanston area resulted in injuries. Just after midnight on June 9, emergency teams received requests for assistance at the scene of an incident on Brown Avenue.

Authorities reports show that a home explosion occurred in the 1400 block of Brown Avenue. The house caught fire causing moderate damage. Three people were injured in the explosion. At present, the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
