Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving fell early in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks with an ankle problem. The team then released an update, announcing that the 29-year-old was out for the remainder of the game.
With James Harden already sidelined with a hamstring injury, Irving’s loss could be potentially devastating for Brooklyn. At the time of writing, the Nets are currently trailing the Bucks, 68-56. Losing this match would tie this series to two games apiece.
Kevin Durant will have to take on a much heavier workload if his two co-stars are forced to miss Game 5. Early returns have been less than ideal, as Durant is currently 6 of 16 with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. . .
Hopefully Irving and Harden can get back on the pitch soon. Otherwise, the Nets will likely need a Herculean performance from Durant to survive this streak.
